MODERN DORAL
Simple approach to minimalist design for a transitional space for our clients to feel in an elevate and sophisticated home while looking for their next abode.
PEOJECT : MODERN DORAL
The Brief
A young couple with children had just purchased their first home in Miami, settling in Doral and looking for a fresh start that reflected their modern lifestyle. They gravitated toward minimalism and a strictly neutral palette, wanting a home that felt clean and sophisticated while remaining comfortable enough for family life, pool games, casual gatherings, and nights entertaining friends.
The Challenge
With the clients initially resistant to color, the challenge was creating depth and personality without moving away from the simplicity they loved. The existing polished floors and predominantly gray palette could easily have made the home feel cold, so the design needed to introduce warmth, movement, and visual interest in a subtle way.
The Process
We approached the home through shape, texture, and contrast rather than color. Furniture with softer silhouettes, layered natural materials, greenery, and sculptural elements brought dimension to the open spaces while maintaining the clean visual language the clients wanted. Every choice was considered around the reality of a young, active family and a home designed to be enjoyed.
The Design Approach
Warm neutrals were layered against gray and polished surfaces, allowing natural textures and organic forms to soften the architecture. Greenery became our interpretation of color—bringing life and freshness into the rooms without disrupting the restrained palette. Curves and sculptural accents added personality while keeping the overall composition sleek and uncluttered.

The Result
The result is a home that feels modern without feeling cold, and minimal without feeling empty. Sleek finishes coexist with warmth, texture, and movement, creating an easy Miami home equally suited to family life, game nights, entertaining friends, or simply relaxing together.
